There are literally millions of great food blogs on the Internet, with established and tested recipes, made by the experienced cooks telling a heart-warming story. Why make another blog? Well, besides Simple Good Ideas becoming a ten-million-and-first food blog, my main goal was to compile in one place a handful of recipes that have become traditional in our family with references to similarities of already established popular food brands and meal classics.
As our moods and taste buds had changed over the years, these recipes had remained our go-to meal plans: they never fail to please everybody. Without an exaggeration, my husband and kids are the world's top pickiest eaters. These meals are so straightforward, with so few basic ingredients, that if I can make these while being a mom, a wife, a business operator, a woodworker, a gardener, a fitness enthusiast, a runner, etc., then anybody can. Whether you are a newlywed, a teenager, a life-long cooking mom, or a chef hobbyist, please try out our recipes and let us know your thoughts! (Elaine Marcus)
